Piano Lessons
Amalie, Susanna and Kira Students can start taking lessons at the age of 5, and at this point they are recommended to have two 20-30 minute lessons per week. Children are introduced to basic music concepts and technique through a variety of known songs and engaging music pieces. Parental involvement is especially important at this stage as young children need help, motivation and encouragement in daily practice. Beyond age 9, students are recommended to have one 45 or 60 minute lesson per week. These lessons address piano technique, artistry, and music theory. Advanced studies can be organized in order to prepare students for conservatory entrance exams, competitions, or concerts. These lessons typically last 60 minutes and take place two or more times per week. PricesStudents need to enroll for weekly lessons on a semester basis, where each semester consists of approximately 15 lessons. Registration is possible at any time during the school year, and before enrolling for the entire semester, students are entitled to a trial lesson. The tuition for each semester is based on the number of individual lessons and the lesson fees listed below. Lesson dates are scheduled according to the French Zone C school calendar. It is possible to have lessons during summer vacation.
